Leri Mchedlishvili

Leri Mchedlishvili (Georgian: ლერი მჭედლიშვილი) (b. March 4, 1936) is a Georgian philosopher in mathematical logic, he has writtin a number of books which are well known throughout Georgia. He was born in Tbilisi, the capital of the then-Soviet Socialist Republic of Georgia. He studied in Lomonosov Moscow State University. He is the head of the section of the Classical Philosophical Heritage in the S.Tsereteli Institute of Philosophy of the Georgian Academy of Sciences. He is also a well known professor in his field and delivers lectures throughout the country.
He has tought many famous people from Georgia, some of them include the following:
- Zurab Tchiaberashvili - Former mayor of Tbilisi, currently the Georgian Ambassador to Council of Europe.
- Giorgi Ugulava - Current mayor of Tbilisi.
- David Tevzadze - Former Georgian Defence Minister.
