Lercara Friddi is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Palermo in the Italian region Sicily, located about 45 km southeast of Palermo.

Lercara Friddi borders the following municipalities: Castronovo di Sicilia, Prizzi, Roccapalumba, Vicari.

Founded in 1595 by local feudataries, it is located on the slopes of Madore Hill, between the valleys of Fiumetorto and Platani rivers. In the past it was an important mining centre, the sole in the province of Palermo where sulphur was excavated.
