[edit] Hmmm...Frankenberger never existed??

Ok, here goes: This Frankenberger character is listed under Wikipedia's "List of People Who Have Disappeared" article (see the only entry for 1860). His link there leads to this tantalizing article about possible Hitler ancestry which practically concludes Frankenberger never existed.
I think we ought to either 1) remove the Frankenberger link from the missing persons article (which by the way states the Hitler connection as the reason for being there) and/or 2) explain Frankenberger somewhere in Adolf Hitler's bio on Wikipedia, rather than have an article about a non-existant person....I'm for both - after all, theres no evidence he "went missing" as in a shipwreck or other disappearance, even if he is ever proved to have lived.. Anybody got any thoughts on it? Engr105th 05:36, 9 September 2007 (UTC)

Totally agree, with both points. Remove from the list, merge with the Adolf Hitler article. The guy, whether or not he really existed (there are no sources here) appears in history only as Hitler's possible father; he apparently did nothing noteworthy independent of that one relationship. No, do not merge. Just state in the article that his existence is disputed -- as it already did. --Michael C. Price talk 09:16, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
Redirect to Alois Hitler#Leopold Frankenberger, it's all there already, there's nothing to merge. 58.8.10.69 (talk) 10:09, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
Now redirected. All the content is already in the Alois Hitler#Leopold Frankenberger article/section. 203.189.129.129 (talk) 09:48, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
