[edit] Name

On the subject of the name, the sentence about the lion is extremely vague and ambiguous. Is anybody able to expand upon this? SRBAndrews 23rd March '07

I have removed the aforementioned sentence about the lion as it didn't make sense and did not cite a source that I could use to clarify it. I have also corrected the IPA pronunciation from ˈlɛmstə to ˈlɛmstə:. SRBAndrews 2nd April '07

I am baffled at the relevance to anyone of the 'crime and prevention' information noted on the main page. Please respond if you can explain why it is so important that it should be on here? o.O
