Lendita Zeqiraj

Lendita Zeqiraj is a Kosovar Albanian painter and movie director, born in 1972 in Pristina, Yugoslavia – now Kosovo. She finished her postgraduate studies in painting at Faculty of Arts in the University of Priština in 1997 and has also studied film aesthetics in Université Paris 8[1]. She, together with her sister Blerta Zeqiri wrote and directed the feature film Exit, which won two prizes at the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival in 2005: “Best Cinematography Feature Film” at the New York event[2] and the same prize at the Los Angeles event[3]. The film was also chosen in the Official selection of the 12th Bradford Film Festival, in Bradford, UK, 2006[4].
Lendita Zeqiraj currently lives and works in Paris, France.
