[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Lax.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Lax.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. [edit] Kia Ora bro!
Hey bud it's your favourite goalie Roberto :P - just saw you put up a page for the Open! Anyways, since I'm a procrastinating sod who SHOULD be doing his EDUC assignment, I gave it an overhaul to make it conform to Wikipedia standards - thus, more likely to not be deleted. I changed Wellington lacrosse open to be a redirect page to Wellington Lacrosse Open - yeah I know the caps is anal but it makes it look more professional. I also put in a userbox similar to those found for pretty much every sports tournament/league/team etc, one that can easily be adjusted (once I finish it and write up the instructions). I also edited the text to justify it as a notable event, and since the Open is small scale, made the article focus on the Open as a yearly tournament, rather than have the article focus on the inaugural tournament. We'll hopefully have much more to write about after the '09 Open - such as crowning the Swarm as champion!
Also to make it get more links, I included it on the Sport in Wellington template that appears on pretty much every Wellington sports article - hey, its a major sporting event in Wellington (and New Zealand!) considering the context so IT COUNTS ;-)
On the to-do list would be maybe fixing up the results a bit, and we might want to look at doing a Lacrosse in New Zealand.
Remember, if you hate all my work and think it bollocks, feel free to revert.
I'm back out of hospital & rest in Tauranga now so hopefully you'll see me at practice come Wednesday - I won't be up for Sunday practices until I've fully recovered but we'll get there.
