Leicester High School for Girls is an independent day school for girls aged 3-18 situated in South Knighton, Leicester. It was founded in 1906 by Mrs. Holles as a coeducational school, and it received its current name in 1985.[1] Although it is a Christian school it is open to students of all faiths. It is a member of the Girls' Schools Association (GSA). and currently enrolls 435 pupils.[2]
Current extension plans are opposed by some residents.[3]
