[edit] List of Levels

can somebody get a refernce for those? CoolChris99

If there's 3 movies, and in the original games there where 6 in each, then there will be 18 levels(if they don't count the upcoming 4th movie).Montana Sullivan

[edit] Platforms

Why does the article say we don't know which platforms the game will be released for, if the information table is listing them?(72.144.198.7 02:49, 7 October 2007 (UTC))

Recently, in the instructions of the LEGO sets of the Indiana Jones movies had an ad of the game and it had a list of all the systems: Playstation 2 & 3, X-Box 360, Wii, Nintendo DS, PC , and PSP —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.131.229.23 (talk) 05:17, 30 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Indygame.jpg

Image:Indygame.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

i think this is enough? [1] --Ilhanli 11:29, 1 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Platforms

As there are no sources for which platforms the game is going to be on, I temporarily replaced them with a TBA-sign. Wikiburger (talk) 16:51, 18 November 2007 (UTC)

I JUST TOLD YOU WIKIBURGER(who has a ridiculous name)THERE'S 18 LEVELS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Also by Montana Sullivan —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.244.30.103 (talk) 17:24, 11 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Why are they removing Nazis?

Ok, why are they doing this? They are a crucial part to the films! WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE DEVELOPERS? 172.131.116.228 (talk) 04:46, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

I believe because one of the game's target demographics is children. However, please be advised that talk pages are not to be used as a forum for discussing the articles subject, only for discussing improvements to the article. xenocidic (talk) 14:23, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
They're still there, just not refered to as Nazi's. I don't see the problem with that, especially as the characters in the game never speak. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.216.238.21 (talk) 17:21, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

Another reason would be that Jews would find any Nazi reference racist (I don't blame them). 212.32.104.162 (talk) 17:56, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

It's actually nothing to do with Traveller's Tales, the developers, about removing Nazis. That's a Lego decision. The Lego Indy sets all have generic non-Nazi bad guys. MGCooke (talk) 18:02, 7 June 2008 (UTC)

They are simply called Germans and removed the swastika. That's it. No big change. by jgkghjdfh —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jgkghjdfh (talkcontribs) 22:20, 7 June 2008 (UTC)

If someone can find a proper source for this quote, it might make a nice addition to the article. I think this comes from someone at at Travelers' Tales explaining why there are no Nazis in this game.

Lego already replaced them with an anonymous genocidal, occultist, trench coat-wearing master-race.

I think its a really clever quote. -162.6.97.3 (talk) 18:43, 10 June 2008 (UTC)

I just bought a GameInformer where one of the developers(or a lego CEO)said, quote,"we're taking the swastikas out and putting generic uniforms in. Nazis arn't exactly 'Cute', you know?" —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.202.0.118 (talk) 19:37, 12 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Level problem

The character li with the adventure on the train when he was a Boy Scout? That doesn't make any sense.–Sidious1701(talkemail) 18:51, 26 May 2008 (UTC)

Actually, that level is from The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles. I saw it back when it was on television, my husband didn't. Was pretty funny, being able to call out the plot for the level to my husband before the level even loaded. They left out perhaps the best part of the episode too: Indiana stole his trademark hat from the villain.24.254.163.150 (talk) 00:07, 7 June 2008 (UTC)

Theres a special unlockable bonus level. User 50 (talk) 13:54, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

It is not from the Young Indy Chronicles, it is the prolouge from Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade and appears as a bonus level in Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures. I own the game and got 100% already, so I know everything about the game. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jgkghjdfh (talkcontribs) 22:37, 7 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Removed lists.

I've removed the list of levels and list of characters as unsuitable content. Feel free to pull whatever is notable out of the below and work it into the prose. xenocidic ( talk ¿ listen ) 02:20, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

Why is this content considered unsuitable. It is exactly what I came here looking for. -162.6.97.3 (talk) 18:05, 10 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Spelling!

Can contributors please not be so sloppy when it comes to spelling? Wikipedia has an in-built spellchecker, so really, you have no excuse.

It's character not characeter

Tatooine not Taitoone

Escape not ecsape

and so on.

Sten28 (talk) 06:31, 5 June 2008 (UTC)

The same thing happened with the Lego Batman game. I'm actually wondering if someone's tampering with these articles on purpose.(72.144.103.232 (talk) 07:54, 6 June 2008 (UTC))

[edit] Aryan race mention in "development" section.

I removed the following sentance from the end of the first paragraph in the development section: "However there is still a reference to the Nazis, if you look in the cutscenes you will see they have blue eyes and blond hair just like the Aryan race, which was at the time considered to be superior to all others." The claim is not backed by any source. Looking up the aryan link that the author placed in the sentence even shows no reference to "blonde hair and blue eyes". Cheesecake42 (talk) 19:37, 5 June 2008 (UTC)

This fact is true according to my reseasrch hitler didn't like the brunettes and the jews. he belived that the "blonde hair and blue eyes" are superior. Also one of my friends has german blood and also states this. User 50 (talk) 02:59, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

Oh wow, he's german, so naturally he knows everything about it. *sarcasm* Yes, keep it removed, it's original research. Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs (talk) 13:58, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
I've lived in America my whole life. The United States was founded in 1906. See how that works? Cheesecake42 (talk) 18:34, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
And I'm of German ancestry, so that means I can say that the Nazis were in fact aliens and don't represent the view of any modern person. :P But seriously, Aryan discussion has no point in this articles as per WP:NOR- however, if there was a reliable source that talked about how the 'Nazi' tag and symbols were removed due to concerns, that might be worth mentioning (I doubt it, though- it would seem kinda obvious LEGO wouldn't want swastikas on their products.) Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs (talk) 18:50, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

Yes, that's exactly why there's no Nazi imagery in the game. It was not featured in any of the Lego Indy sets or figures, on which the game is based. MGCooke (talk) 00:02, 9 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] "Differences in specific platforms" section

Just wondering: should there be a section like in the Lego Star Wars II article? --Addict 2006 18:57, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
