In New South Wales, the Lower House is referred to as the Legislative Assembly, not the House of Assembly. I've removed the reference to NSW from that section. Xdenizen 22:07, 5 September 2006 (UTC)

Legislative Assembly refers to a legislature, period. No need to restrict it to the British Commonwealth. The Assemblée Nationale is a legislative assembly, so is Dáil Éireann and the Knesset. Scolaire (talk) 21:17, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
