Talk:Legal Drug
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Legal Drug Is an amazing shonen-ai story by Clamp. I feel that its low popularity is a real shame. Yet its a comfort for most fans, because alot of anime titles these days have been tarished as there populatiy grows. Im glade Japanese animation is catching on.. but I really do beliveve its growing out of control.. as some fans are younger then 14.
Well Legal Drug is very enterting and gripping. fans of Yaoi and shonen-ai titles should really take a look in to it.
I completely agree, but I don't see what's wrong with liking anime under 14.
I guess because even the tamest of animes can have quite a bit of violence and sexual implications.
Why of course but isn't that what makes it great?
[edit] The "shounen-ai" section of this page.
Where did CLamp state that this series is not shounen-ai? It doesn't really makes sense, since Kakei and Saiga are in that kind of relationship. Perhaps they meant its not focused on BL? 192.92.81.254 02:15, 4 December 2006 (UTC)Duchessa
[edit] !
First off, I'll start by reminding everyone that even the Japanese shake their heads at you & will correct you if you continue to use the outdated term "shounenai." It's BL.
Secondly, of course it was intended. This is CLAMP...the group that not only has homoerotic undertones to every manga they've ever worked on, but spawned from a large CIRCLE (manga group) of BL doujinshika (people who make profit from their black market fan comics). CLAMP themselves that Yukito & Touya of CCS were a couple.
Gouhou Drug finnaly gives their BL audience & old Clamp Cluster fans what they want; an open & indesputable boy-boy relationship.
WISH was intended to be as innofencive as possible to readers with gender pairing preferences. The genderless angels were however made to look like boys on purpose. Germany did a much better job of translating it & Tokyopop peeved everyone who read the scanilations online.
[edit] Minor Characters Section
I have made a few edits to the Minor Characters section :)
The part about Kei originally said "In the manga, she is missing and Kazahaya is trying to find her" However the manga has no reference to her being missing or that Kazahaya is looking for her. Rather, the manga implies that he actually ran away from her.
Following on from this, Tsukiko cannot be missing "like Kei" as Kei is not missing. Additionally, the article says that she is "most likely a relative of Rikuo", however there is no evidence in the manga to either confirm or disregard this statement and it's equally likely that she may be an old girlfriend or merely a close friend.
