Left Unity was a Communist political group with seats in the European Parliament between 1989 and 1994.

Left Unity was founded on 25 July 1989[3] with 14[2] members. It included MEPs from the Communist parties of France, Greece and Portugal. After the 1994 elections it became the "Confederal Group of the European United Left"[3] on 19 July 1994.[3]
