[edit] Lee Hyori: Originally a man?
A few years ago, I remember searching up "Hyori" and getting biographies that stated that she was originally a man before. Right now, it seems that it's now covered up. I can't figure out if that was just a rumor that was spread to ruin her reputation, or if that really happened. Could anyone please enlighten me on this? Cerealchan 02:26, 3 July 2006 (UTC)
- Nevermind, I had the wrong person.
[edit] Name of article
Hyori has been known as "Hyori" for the longest time; I'm not sure why anyone would change it to "Hyo Ri". This is more or less a matter of commonality than what could be argued (although I doubt it) as correct. User:Stevay
- Please sign your comments. I have done so for you. Anyway, I agree. She is overwhelmingly known as Hyori Lee in the English-speaking world, and as this is the English Wikipedia, the article should be there. —Lowellian (talk) 02:56, Mar 26, 2005 (UTC)

- While I agree that her given name should not have a space nor a hyphen in it, I don't agree that her family name should be put last, as most people know her by "Lee Hyori", and not "Hyori Lee". Stevay 20:00, 27 Mar 2005 (UTC)
I added some information about her Dark Angel CD, but you erased it???? User:ginaaax3
- Hi ginaaax3, I reverted your edits as they didn't contain much relevant new information about Lee Hyori. For example, in an encyclopedia, it's not appropriate to discuss how certain song has a swear word in it and how the singer hesitates to sing the song because of that. That sort of information is more appropriate for a fansite, not an encyclopedia. Also in your edits, you erased information about other Lee Hyori upcoming events, such as hosting an upcoming television show and released a new album with her group. This information was already deemed useful by myself and other editors, so I reverted it back.
- I did look back on my recent edit, and I have readded the part you added about Hyori's album being released recently. If you have any other news about Hyori, please feel free to contribute, now that you have a better sense of what is appropriate and what is not. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me on my talk page.

This should be at Lee Hyori. That's the most common, and it gets the most hits. --LakeHMM 07:01, 13 March 2006 (UTC)
- I agree. Hyolee2 should stop moving this page. Stevay 02:16, 16 March 2006 (UTC)
- Well, I'll concur, but I can only take unilateral action should 3RR violation occur, although there are other methods of dispute resolution. I'll keep watch in the mean time. Elle vécut heureuse à jamais (Be eudaimonic!) 20

Hey, I have a news article about Britney's "Do Something," plagiarized by the writer of "Get Ya." I don't know where to put it so I'll just put it here for now. Iloveayu 22:47, 23 March 2006 (UTC)

I cited the sources regarding that plagiarism stuff. Iloveayu 01:57, 25 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Advertising and Marketing Accomplishments
She appeared on Seventeen? Does this mean she appeared on Korean Seventeen? I didn't even know the Seventeen was sold in Korea. I thought Seventeen closed after only about a few years in Korea. mirageinred 22:29, 16 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Advertising question
What the heck is a "Mystery Advert"? Can someone please clarify and add why this is important? Thanks. SKS2K6 23:19, 12 July 2006 (UTC)

Image:Ifinlove...likethem.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion.
