Lee Miglin
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Lee Miglin (1925-May 4, 1997) was a wealthy Chicago real estate developer who made millions in the building boom of the 1980s. Miglin was the third victim of Andrew Cunanan's 1997 murder spree.
Born to a coal miner of Lithuanian descent, he eventually became a real estate magnate. The concept of integrating office and warehouse space, commonly referred to as a business park, is credited to Miglin.[1]
In 1989 J. Paul Beitler, Miglin's partner, began to trumpet a to-be built 125 story structure to be built in Chicago. The so called "Sky Needle" was never built.
Miglin was married to former model and cosmetics executive Marilyn Miglin.
