I stumbled on wikipedia purely by accident...in looking up one of my favorite topics in the www: alternate realities (Harry Turtledove et al.).

I am a native German, now 42 years of age, living in Berlin. I had my formal education at the Französisches Gymnasium Berlin and the Free University of Berlin , and have spent lengthier periods of time in Ireland, Paris, Prague and Brussels, am therefore quite fluent in different languages, although my English is completely self-taught (and tends to be rather awkward at times, so feel free to correct it; watch out for germanized grammar). I've got major degrees in Geology (specialising in Paleontology), Pre- and Early History, and Administration.

I'm interested in, and thus may be able to contribute to, the following topics: fantasy and science fiction literature, (pre-)history, paleontology, Ireland (especially Kerry), mystery-literature.

Btw, Lectonar is the name of my first AD&D character, in regular play now since 1989, and still only level 15 (!) (take this, hack and slashers, and another level for you)....there is a child in every man, sigh...
