[edit] Faith Healing

You wrote: "Wow, it's great to see so many different articles on the different types of Church of the Firstborn. My father gets those same directories but I didn't know there was one out for 2006 yet. I usually find the General Assembly: Church of the Firstborn buildings tucked away in small towns and growing up in that church, there are some congregations that won't go to doctors due to scriptures stating that when others are sick they should seek the elders of the church and have them lay hands on them and pray to heal them. No worries though, I grew up going to doctors all my life. It was a few of my childhood friends who weren't so fortunate. If you want some reading material, try to google the name and check out all the cases of dying babies and mothers that are from Cushing, Oklahoma. Talk to ya'll later!"

I am not from Cushing, but I can tell you this: critics target us because of our methods. You rarely hear of the mistakes that are made too often in hospitals, because they don't want to discourage doctoring.

I personally know a woman (my aunt, actually) who was cured of cancer without medication... she had the tissue of the cancer, which simply fell off, tested to confirm that it was cancer.

If you reply, odds are that I won't continue communicating... I have long known that there is no point in trying to convince others of my beliefs... or to accept them. For some reason, though, I just had to say this. SirVenom (talk) 06:51, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

SirVenom,

I agree with you. The power of Faith Healing truely is a great thing. One of my aunts who attend the Parkland General Assembly: Church of the Firstborn was diagnosed with diabeties early in life and when relying on the elders of the church, came to find out it was as if she had never had diabeties at all. Praise be to God and all he does for us. Thank you for your post on my talk page and I appreciate your communication. God bless and have a great day.Learjetsuperkingairmechanic (talk) 15:36, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

Your response is different than I expected, I am glad to see you aren't bashing me like the average person would :) Parkland church.... I think I heard of it, but never been there.

Thank you and have a nice day. SirVenom (talk) 22:39, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
