Welcome to Wikipedia. A page you recently created, Leandros, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for new pages, so it will shortly be removed (if it hasn't been already). Please use the sandbox for any tests you may want to do and please read our introduction page to learn more about contributing. Thank you. Natalie 16:45, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Welcome
Welcome to Wikipedia. To find out more about how to make useful contributions, take a look at the welcome page. To stay in Wikipedia, an article has to be about something notable, that is, of general interest. See WP:N for an explanation of what that means. Follow the links below to learn more:
- To find out more about creating articles, read the introduction, tutorial, and Guide to creating your first article.
- Do not write articles about yourself, your company, your band, or your best friend - that's a conflict of interest.
- For experiments, please use the sandbox. JohnCD 19:01, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
Shiftos
A tag has been placed on Shiftos, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself.
If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this. JohnCD 19:01, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Leandros
I have put a notice on your article Leandros proposing its deletion because it is not clear that its subject is notable enough for an article in Wikipedia, and because the article does not give any independent sources. That notice will stay for five days; if you can improve the article, please do.
Before you try to create any more articles, it will help to avoid disappointment if you first read Your first article carefully, so that you understand what an article needs if it is not to be deleted as unsuitable. JohnCD 16:26, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
