Talk:Lease
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Nearly every link to this page is about leasing rather than concession (territory). I'm going to fix the handful of concession (territory) links, add a disambig template to leasing and turn this page back into a redirect to leasing. --squirrel 20:22, 21 June 2006 (UTC)
For English law this article is completely wrong. I guess it might be right in the US, but it should explicitly state this. For example, English law (common law) doesn't explicitly require rent for a lease to be created ( see LPA 1925, s205, (1) (xxvii)). Leases may not be for indefinite duration (Prudential Assurance v LRB [1992]), and the lease is not a legal document, the deed is. I'm not really an expert in this area, so I don't want to change things, but someone should really have a look. If no-one wants to, then I'll stop back when I have time and do it myself. 131.111.200.200 (talk) 12:45, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
