[edit] Putting on weight?

Maybe I am mistaken, but it looks like she has begun to visibly put on the pounds (noticeable in her facial region as well as elsewhere). I have looked back on older episode of The King of Queens and noticed a size difference. Is she currently pregnant?

[edit] Year of Birth vs. Parents Divorce

The article states that her parents divorced in 1967 and that she was born in 1970. While it is certainly not unusual for this to happen, I think something along the lines of how this happened (if it isn't a typo) could be useful. Especially since she has a full sister and a half sister who seem to both have been born in 1969.

[edit] "…read or heard…"?

“If somebody is going to get turned off about something because of what they read or heard, then that person's not smart enough to even enter a church.” -Presley, cited in the entry

I realize my saying this is kind of off-topic, but this quote has confounded me. How else is a person supposed to learn about anything? One can't form an opinion of something without experiencing it directly?

Exactly. You don't have to experience something to know it's bad for you. And in the case of crazy cults, often times once you get in they brainwash you and you can't leave even if you want to. I wonder if Ms. Remini would agree that sawing off your legs is a bad thing, even though she obviously hasn't tried it? I know being "open minded" is currently the upmost of virtues in our lost society, but I'll always put common sense first. --[Not a wikipedian, so no sig. Sorry.]

My identical reaction too. She discounts the possibility of thoughtful reading and hearing. Good judgment isn't welcome in her definition of a church, only obedience. JimmyTheSaint 01:23, 3 July 2006 (UTC)

I am not a supporter of Scientology but I think someone needs to explain what is obvious she meant. Reading about Christianity and hearing friends tell you about it doesn't give you the ability to bash all that is christianity so why does that happen with scientology? If you want to learn about christianity go to church, church groups and such so if you want to make a decision about scientology you need to go experience it (it is not a cult like others have said so you don't have to fear them holding you against your will).24.235.216.83 23:45, 14 November 2006 (UTC)

I can't really tell what this last user is trying to say. But I definately agree with the first three guys here. I don't think you have to experience something to form an opinion about it. In fact, if you join a cult that was started by a SCIENCE FICTION writer, believe that a big alien dumped a bunch of little aliens into a volcano, and pay thousands of dollars for "auditing" to get the little aliens out of you, your not "open minded," yeah, your pretty much an idiot.

[edit] Her looks

In my opinion, Leah Remini is still hot with awesome personality as seen on MTV Cribs. She is hilarious especially at the ending of cribs. I won't say what she was doing as some may have not seen the ep but watch it. Anyway, she may not be as gorgeous as she was when the show first aired, but I still think she is hot. And that's natural as she has had kids and she has gotten older, but she is still very pretty in my opinion and I like a woman with a little extra meat on her. Well, I'm black so that's natural but yea.

[edit] Cheers

I believe that she played on an episode of Cheers one time as Carla's daughter..

She played Serafina Tortelli a couple of times, although I think that Serafina was acctually Carla's daughter in law Djarra 14:51, 22 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Scientology

It is said "scientologists Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes." Katie Holmes is not a scientologist. She is a Roman Catholic. *****Lindaige —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.109.130.131 (talk) 20:47, 21 February 2007 (UTC).

Katie Holes claims to have accepted Scientology. And while I have not heard any comments about her practice thereof, I do not think it is fair to deny that she is a Scientologist in favor of Catholicism. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.87.52.49 (talk) 22:47, 18 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Stub/Start status

Changing status, as references have been added, trivia section removed. clearly not a stub, IMO.-Robotam 13:12, 18 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Italian?

In what way is she Italian-American, if she was born in New York, and only one of her parents is Italian? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.206.38.46 (talk) 23:05, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

She is certainly half-Italian but I don't understand why she is labelled as an Italian-American actress in the beginning of the article. Why can't it just say that she's an American actress? 70.51.236.194 (talk) 02:38, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
