how do u pronouce it?

what a blatant attempt at advertising. Not saying that what is written isnt true, but wikipedia should be careful or it will turn into some sort of corporate advertising platform. definitly not NPOV

  • Both of you, please sign your comments. It is pronounced lead, as in to lead a horse, and then tek as in technology, and which part is not NPOV? huntersquid 18:19, 12 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] R&D

@"research and development": does Leadtech really focus on R&D? The television card I have is reusing the BT8x8, and the graphics cards seem to be reusing nVidia chipsets. Is there any evidence of R&D going on at Leadtech? 82.139.85.60 14:43, 4 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Crappy software

I previously installed the driver and software that came with my Winfast card without trouble, but when I did it again after a reinstall, it really fucked up my computer. Symptoms: failed logo test, ignoring yields a STOP error, after reboot none of the hardware connected except monitor and keyboard worked. I'll not detail what I'd like to see done to the developers, except that it it's a cruel form of capital punishment, but I will give you a sensible piece of advice: throw that CD away, and look online for some free software drivers. After repairing the damage I installed DScaler and it works much better than Leadtek's software ever did. And most importantly for those of us who use their computer for different things than watching TV: it doesn't fuck up your system. I don't generally post rants like this, let alone on Wikipedia talk pages, but gah, I had to get this of my chest. I feel better now. Thank you, 82.139.85.60 22:52, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
