Leave Luck to Heaven is the first full-length album by Detroit-based Matthew Dear, released under his birth name.[1][2] Released in late 2003, the album’s fusion of pop and minimal techno propelled Dear to international success.[citation needed] The album’s single Dog Days became a bestseller for the Spectral Sound label, and a favorite of DJs like Richie Hawtin.
