Le haillan is a commune in the département of Gironde and the Aquitaine region of France. It is a suburb of the city of Bordeaux, and is adjacent to it on the north-west side. In the 1999 census, Le haillan had a population of 8 133 hab. The commune has a land area of 9,26 km².
