Lê Công Vinh (born on December 10, 1985) is a Vietnamese footballer who is a striker for Song Lam Nghe An. He is a member of the Vietnam national football team. A pacy forward, he is one of the fastest player in South-East Asia, and not surprisingly, one of the most feared. Not the most technically gifted of players, but his winning mentality makes him a threat throughout ninety minutes.
He is now regarded as the best striker in Vietnamese Football after Le Huynh Duc retired. He is equal to Le Huynh Duc in terms of number of awards given to the best footballer of the year.
