Le Chauve-Souris

Le Chauve-Souris (translated: The Bat) was the name of a touring revue during the early 1900s. Originating in Europe (some sources say Russia[1], others Germany[2]), the revue toured the United States and Europe, and was very well received by the public.[1]

Le Chauve-Souris inspired a parody called No Sirree! created and performed by members of the Algonquin Round Table.
