Le Couronnement de la Vierge

La Vierge est couronnée devant une Trinité aux visages identiques et trois hiérarchies d'anges. L'immense dossier du trône est orné de pilastres, serti de plaques de marbre et couronné de putti portant une guirlande. L'ordonnance architecturale du trône tripartite rappelle celle du mur du fond dans l'image de présentation d'Étienne Chevalier à la Vierge à matines.
