Talk:LDS Philanthropies

The article keeps refering to the Church. Is this the Catholic Church? Midnightcomm 03:46, 10 May 2006 (UTC)
It refers to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints. GreatScot
I don't know if the previous submitter will see the copyright notice, so in the meantime I created a simple Temp page that could be used, and has a link that provides broad information including the LDS Philanthropies website. reiddp
[edit] NPOV
The whole article reads like an advertisement, needs a major re-write. Ledenierhomme 23:32, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
Are there particular statements that you feel fail NPOV? It is a tough sell to simply say that a positive article about a as-far-as-we-know-blameless charity effort is "too positive". Is there factual sourced information that you feel should be included to offset what you feel, if I understand you correctly, is a promotional POV? KipHansen 16:07, 15 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] LDS Foundation and LDS Philanthropies are Different Organizations
I tried to call the LDS Foundation and I got LDS Philanthropies and discovered that they are now two different organizations which involved a name change which is contributing to the confusion.
