Laxman Singh is a former speaker of Rajasthan Legislative Assembly . He was speaker from July 1977 to June 1979. Prior to that he was the leader of opposition . He hails from Dungarpur town in Rajasthan and is popularly known as Maharawal Laxman Singh. He was married to the princess of Kishangarh.
