Laxiwa Dam

Laxiwa Dam is a large dam on the Yellow River in Qinghai Province Nouthwest of China.
It has 6 generators, each with generating capacity of 700 MW. The total generating capacity of the project is 4,200 MW.
Construction started on April 18 2006 and is going to complete on 2010. [1]
