[edit] Page move

I moved this page from Law and Government of Chicago to Law and government of Chicago in accordance with the naming conventions. All links have been updated. — Knowledge Seeker 09:21, 13 Mar 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Issues

The article mentions the legal constitution of the city and the political makeup of the population, but what about the political issues? Transportation, the environment? Oh wait, I guess that's LA. Crime? No, that's New York. Economic downturn? Detroit. What's Chicago got? LeoDV 2 July 2005 22:23 (UTC)

[edit] split this article

There's a lot of repetition between this article and Political history of Chicago. I think the "Politics" section should be merged there. That just leaves the first paragraph, a short discription of how the city is organized. Since it's so short I would put it into the main Chicago article where there's a section called "Law and governance". Tocharianne 21:27, 30 December 2006 (UTC)
