Lavant River

The Lavant River is a tributary of the Drau (or Drava in Slovenian) in the Austrian Bundesland of Carinthia.
Its name stems from the Indoeuropean meaning shining river.
The river is 64 km land and drains a watershed of 969 square kilometers.
