RODRIGUEZ LIVE FIRE COMPLEX, Republic of Korea – A Light Armored Vehicles fires 25mm rounds during a live-fire event here, March 27. The gun is controlled by use of a joystick and targeting scope inside the LAVs rotating turret. The LAVs are from the Light Armored Reconnaissance platoon, Weapons Company of Battalion Landing Team 2nd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment. BLT 2/1 is the ground combat element of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit.
