FESTIVALS IN MANRESA
The most important festivals in Manresa are:
- Fira Mediterrània Organized from the "Fundació Fira d’espectacles d’arrel tradicional", Mediterrània it celebratied every year in Manresa, since 9 editions during the first weekend of November. The tenth edition of the Fair will be held from 1 to 4 November. The main goals are to encourage the participation of developers and boost business for all participants. And, as a market that is the main objective of the fair is to facilitate the recruitment of the shows programmed by programmers registered. The number of artistic proposals usually revolve around the hundred: -Entertainment music, theater and dance. -Entertainment for adult audiences and also to the public arena of family. -Entertainment as well as proposals roving street.
- Festa Major The festival is an occasion to interact. It is a space where we participated manresans and people of the region. Some that we were born, and others who have come to live from the five continents. A feast ompartida around music, dance, theater, circus, the Giants and castellers. The fire and water. Traditions selling of old tunes alongside of rabid today. We may also see the castle fire to the park of the Needle, attend good entertainment for children by parents and children, and participate in a correfoc rooted and more crowded every year. This year, the new Kursaal is added to the Festival, presenting entertainment fun, as it is for the occasion.
- Festa de la Llum "La Festa de la Llum " commemorating the arrival of a mysterious ray of light, coming from Montserrat, reached the church of Carme, indeed happened during the fourteenth century.
