I have removed the Prod notice. Prof. Baxter clearly passes WP:PROF. One of the criteria is "The person is regarded as an important figure by those in the same field", and thae fact that his university established an annual lecture in his memory and that eminent statisticians have delivered the lecture is ample proof that he meets this.--Runcorn 17:37, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
