Lauren Stamile (born September 12, 1976) is an actress best known for her recurring role as 'Nurse Rose' in the ABC series Grey's Anatomy. She had over 30 credits to her name prior to this role, including starring as Kate Jackson in the television movie Behind the Camera: The Unauthorized Story of 'Charlie's Angels'. She spent a season co-starring in the short-lived situation comedy Off Centre with actors including John Cho. With one two-episode exception, Nurse Rose is the first other TV role in which Stamile has appeared in more than one episode in a given series.
Stamile's role on the highly rated series is controversial with some fans. Nurse Rose stood as the third vertex in an unanticipated love triangle with Derek Shepherd, played by Patrick Dempsey and Dr. Meredith Grey, played by Ellen Pompeo, whose characters long had a passionate and tumultuous off-and-on romance.
