Lauren Faust

Lauren Faust (born 1974) is an American born animator of Lithuanian, Polish and German descent. She grew up in Severna Park, a suburb of Annapolis, Maryland. She studied animation at the California Institute of the Arts.
She is the wife of Craig McCracken, the creator of The Powerpuff Girls and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends and has also worked on both of these shows. The character of Frankie in Foster's is based on her. She also is the creator of the preteen girls web site "Milky Way and the Galaxy Girls." She has received three Emmy nominations and one Annie nomination.
