Laura Pearson

Laura Pearson (born in Glasgow, Scotland 30th May 1984) is an actress who also works in TV Drama, Film and Theatre in the areas of production and script development. Laura is also a fashion columnist for six newspapers in Scotland. Her past acting work ranges across TV, TV Pilots, Feature Film, Short Film and Music Video etc. She is represented by McLaren Management Ltd in the UK, and The Entertainment Factory in Ireland. She is also a respected drama script consultant for broadcasters, production companies, and individual writers; and has given guest masterclasses to writers in London. She also works in production on feature films such as 'The Da Vinci Code' and 'Harry Potter & The Order of The Phoenix'. Laura also wrote a fashion column in 2007 in six newspapers titles including the 'West End News' published by Premier Publishing (due to her TV, Film and Theatre profile). She picked her favourite fashion items from individual boutiques and designers. She still has a main base in her home city of Glasgow; and has been the subject of many press articles and features (e.g. she was selected to appear in Channel 4's 4Talent Hot Talent showcase); and has been asked to write features herself on getting into TV and Film. Before working as an actress and creatively in other areas of the TV, Film and Theatre industries herself; Laura worked as a film and theatre critic. Note: Laura Pearson is not the same Laura Pearson who appeared as a baby in Australian soap opera 'Neighbours'.
