Laura Haskins-Bookser (b.1972- )is an American author, born in New York City. She is author of the books Dreams to Reality: Education, Career and Life Choices for Young Moms and The Softer Side of Hip-Hop: Poetic Reflections on Love, Family, and Relationships,[1] two motivational books for teen and single parents, largely inspired by her experience going to college and traveling to Europe after getting pregnant at 18 years-old [2].
