The source code to Launchelf was released with version 3.41, and PS2-Scene Forum Members "EP" and "dlanor" have used it to create "uLaunchELF" along with others of the PS2-Scene community. They have expanded upon the features of the original LaunchELF to include a text editor with keyboard support, HDD partition managing, an Image Viewer, background support and custom color schemes, and an FTP Host function. The project is actively updated and the current version is 4.12. (The developers started the version numbering at 3.41a)
