You are mistaken.

http://www.antibes.co.uk/scamavoidance.php is not an aggregated feeds page. The IP numbers listed there are first-hand source material derived from an accurate methodology which is able to track the Yahoo-Boys before they even send out an email. Please can you delete this information after reading it.

The IP numbers are provided gratis to enable people to confirm their researches into sources of emails they may have received, and provided so that people can protect their systems in advance.

You have threatened to the ultimate extent without apparently considering the issue. Your response is irrational under the Wednesbury Principles.

You have not answered my first response with regard to the aggregated feed page issue which you have raised: the information provided on the page is available nowhere else and the data is generated at source: it is not an aggregate of data from elsewhere and therefore cannot be considered to be an aggregated feeds page.

The link is provided as a public resource to assist people to protect themselves against the scam systems that are in operation. It is not spam and is highly relevant information to this article.

Will you kindly explain yourself properly: anyone would think that you are a scammer trying to protect the industry. With the real-time data on the apparently offending page, http://www.antibes.co.uk/scamavoidance.php, law enforcement agencies can liase with ISPs providing internet connexions to internet cafes in West Africa in realtime to get individuals arrested on the spot as they surf for victims.

Your suppression of the information is bizarre.

Thank you for your more detailed explanation. However, www.antibes.co.uk is irrelevant to 419 scams. http://www.antibes.co.uk/scamavoidance.php is relevant. Prediction of IP addresses from which 419 scam emails are sent is unique. So is providing a daily list publicly as a resource. If you can find a better resource, then please post a link in order to enable people to better protect themselves. The article is currently inadequate in not mentioning that such an approach is possible. Presumably you intend to make WikiPedia a better resource?Latroba (talk) 21:53, 10 June 2008 (UTC)

Wikipedia is an encyclopedia - as such many links do not belong here. Equally Wikipedia is not a place to to promote a site
Unlike Wikipedia, DMOZ is a web directory specifically designed to categorize and list all Internet sites; if you've not already gotten your sites listed there, I encourage you to do so -- it's a more appropriate venue for your links than our wikis. Yes - thank you - I have known about DMOZ for a decade. Your explanation pales into insignificance when one finds not a mere link but a whole article devoted to promoting a website: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/419eater.com

The current 419 scam article is deficient in providing advice on how people can protect themselves, other than to indulge in the sport of scam baiting.Latroba (talk) 09:17, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
