[edit] Giant squid

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thanks for your contribution to the article on giant squid. I'm afraid I've had to revert your paragraph about the creatures having "no maximum size" because it directly contradicts a sentence earlier in the article ("giant squid's mantles are not known to exceed 2.25m"), and when a sourced statement contradicts an unsourced one, the sourced one wins.

Have you got a source for the fact about giant squid size? --McGeddon (talk) 18:17, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
