Last Light is a 2001 novel by Andy McNab centered on his character Nick Stone.

After aborting an officially sanctioned assassination attempt on a member of a visiting group of South American business men. Nick Stone is snatched by his SIS masters and given an ultimatum: go to Panama and finish the job or Kelly, the 11 year old orphan he is responsible for, will be killed.
