Talk:Lars Ulrich's equipment

Lars has been using kevlar-dots on the batting side of his bassdrum heads almost since they became available from Remo. Does anyone know when? I think they should be mentioned, as they are an important piece in his equipment, to prevent him from punching through the heads too fast. They also slightly alter the sound, so they should be mentioned I think, but I need the date from when he started using them.

Muffles: Lars must be using muffles to remove the high pitch tones from the toms, he used to duct-tape the heads, he no longer does, so he probably uses muffles. Anybody know for sure? --Skehrkrow (talk) 13:39, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
