Lara Veronin (traditional Chinese: 梁心頤; simplified Chinese: 梁心颐; pinyin: Liáng Xīnyí; born May 2, 1988), also known as Lara Liang, is a Russian-Taiwanese-American student from the Taipei American School class of 2006, is the lead female vocalist in the popular Taiwanese band Nan Quan Mama (traditional Chinese: 南拳媽媽; simplified Chinese: 南拳妈妈; pinyin: nán quán māma), whose second album, Nan Quan Mama #2, reached as high as #4 on the Taiwan album charts. She was raised in Southern California and moved to Taiwan in her teens. She has also appeared as a featured vocalist on Jay Chou's sixth album November's Chopin, on the track "Coral Sea." Members in the band Nan Quan Mama can be regarded as Chou's most well-known apprentices.
In 2006, Lara was cast in the television series Engagement for Love (traditional Chinese: 愛情經紀約; simplified Chinese: 爱情经纪约; pinyin: àiqíng jīngjì yuē) with Alex To and Ambrose Hsu.
Lara is currently studying in a college in Taipei while continuing her music career.[citation needed]
