[edit] Summary

Larry Warren, founder and president of Maine Huts and Trails, Suzie Hockmeyer, on the board of directors, and John Willard, an early supporter, consider routing alternatives for the 180-mile system of cross-country ski trails with up to 12 wilderness hostelries. The current proposed route will link the Mahoosuc Range of Western Maine with Moosehead Lake, the state's largest waterbody. Photo taken by Scott Andrews.
