✘ This proposal has failed to attain consensus within the Wikipedia community. A failed proposal is one for which a consensus to accept is not present after a reasonable amount of time, and seems unlikely to form, regardless of continuing discussion.

  • It shall be Wikipedia administrative language policy to resolve translation/transliteration/transcription and article content conflicts in the English-language Wikipedia project through consensus-based neutrality (NPOV) between collaborating Wikipedia English-language and foreign-language boards of editors. The “one-language rule” or OLR is subsumed under this policy.
  • Corollary: It shall be Wikipedia policy to identify editor cabals engaged in the misapplication, misinterpretation or misunderstanding of this policy or of the Wikipedia one-language rule.
