The icon is used because some recipients of the template said that they missed noticing it on their talk page if around the same time some other messages were placed there at the same time. Using an iron (or else a box around it) made it noticeable. They said that the icon drew their attention to it and they read it intently because of that. Some sort of graphic is useful with templates to make them noticeable. This icon is useful for advisory templates, with the hand for warning ones. FearÉIREANN\^(caint) 22:40, 27 May 2006 (UTC)

I Just made Template:Lang0 Because There needs to be a Good Faith warning In case the person Actually thinks they are making a spelling mistake. I also made Some edits to that Template that you may want to copy over to this one.--E-Bod 03:07, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

Template:Dates2 starts with "Advice: " Because it's not that easy to mistaken BCE as a mistake. So it assumes the editor knows that both are used for dates

However, this template is for spelling and users can actually forget that their are other ways of spelling it. Especially when they run the document thou a spell checker and the computer suggests the fix or the computer takes the liberty to fix it itself. So you have to assume better faith for this scenario. That is why i created Template:Lang0 and Template:Lang0-n (Because I like to personalize it a tad).--E-Bod 04:55, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

I made a suggestion to make it even Shorter on the 0 talk page and you can move the deleted part from that template to this one if it makes more sense. However i don't want my changes to be to radical so i will wait a while for some comments first or somebody else can make it for me--E-Bod 06:00, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
