[edit] Merge

I oppose the merge of (Champagne) Lanson, a champagne house, into Lanson International, which seems to be a stock-traded holding company owning several champagne houses. Individual champgne houses registered with CIVC fulfill notability criteria on their own, are likely to be more looked-up articles than their corporate owners, and would focus on other content, e.g. viticulture, oenology, house style and history. • Also oppose per Tomas e arguments. Can't see any good reason why an article on a 1760 founded Champagne house be merged into severely less significant article about the current holding company. MURGH disc. 11:42, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
