I see no reason for two separate articles. Their similar names makes matters confusing for those unfamiliar with either of Lancashire League's guises. - Dudesleeper · Talk 22:49, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

Agreed. Even if two separate articles were needed, they would be best differentiated by date, not by one being (football) and the other (soccer). - fchd 21:04, 13 June 2007 (UTC)

As recommended I have now merged the two articles. I will improve the combined article with more information in due course. Higherwiki 15:55, 16 June 2007
