Lansing High School is the only public high school in Lansing, Kansas. It has a population of roughly 750 students. Most of the students have known each other since elementary school, due to the limited number of schools in the area. Many students come in the middle of the year due to the military affiliation. It is close to Fort Leavenworth so many families choose to live in Lansing. The school has a new auditorium.
