The Land of Medicine Buddha is one of the FPMT (Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition) centers, which is located in the Santa Cruz Mountains in California, United States of America, based on the Buddhist Tradition from Lama Tsong Khapa of Tibet as taught by FPMT founders Lama Thubten Yeshe and Spiritual Director, Lama Thubten Zopa Rinpoche. Devoted to the healing of the mind and body by developing a compassionate, good heart, the Land of Medicine Buddha offers a safe, relaxing refuge in quiet areas.

The Land of Medicine Buddha is a Center devoted to the transmission of the Mahayana Buddhist tradition and values through teaching, meditation and community service, located in the Santa Cruz Mountains. The organization is based on the Buddhist tradition of Lama Tsong Khapa of Tibet as taught by founder Lama Thubten Yeshe and our Spiritual Director, Lama Zopa Rinpoche. Land of Medicine Buddha provides integrated education through which people’s minds and hearts can be transformed into their highest potential for the benefit of others, inspired by an attitude of universal responsibility. As caretakers, the organization offer facilities, spiritual teachings & services and an atmosphere supporting people’s inner healing and development to their full potential of infinite wisdom and compassion.
