[edit] Name
What about moving it to either Laments or Treny?-- Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus | talk 18:10, 14 November 2006 (UTC)
- Update:Laments, Threnodies or Lamentations all can refer to various poems. In this case I suggest sticking with original name (Treny) for the article.-- Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus | talk 21:47, 14 November 2006 (UTC)
- I'd like to propose that the article name be changed from Laments (Treny) to Laments (Treny) in accordance with Wikipedia:Naming conventions (books) and especially Wikipedia:Manual of Style (titles):
-
- Italics
- Italics should be used for:
- titles of the following:
- Books
- Long or epic poems (..)
- Books
- titles of the following:
- Abbreviations of the above should also be italicized. [1] --Poeticbent talk 18:30, 23 January 2007 (UTC)

- The title of Kochanowski's work is italicized in the lead and in the body of the article. It's my understanding that article titles are not italicized or placed in quotation marks, regardless of whether they are books, stories, films, etc. logologist|Talk 23:26, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, I don't think Wikimedia software supports italic in titles.-- Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus | talk 00:39, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
